Q:HOW DO I KNOW IF MY LOVED ONES NEEDS MEMORY CARE SUPPORT?
A:There are many types of care levels available in senior living, so it is important to determine which kind of care your loved one requires. SilverCrest offers Assisted Living Memory Care, which is designed for adults dealing with Alzheimer’s or other memory-related disorders. At SilverCrest, our Memory Care residents are afforded the highest level of independence that makes sense for them, combined with individualized programming. We provide the right level of engagement and support, as well as the necessary safety measures, to foster the highest quality of life possible. Our co-founder worked in Memory Care for 15 years and has designed a model of Memory Care that allows residents to not just be “looked after,” but to get the most out of every day and enjoy life to the fullest in an environment that feels like home.
Q:HOW DO YOU KEEP RESIDENTS SAFE?
A:Safety is among SilverCrest’s top priorities across the board, both within our walls and against outside elements like contagious viruses. Every facet of our private gated community was designed with safety in mind, from the well-lit walking paths that promote safe passage, to the magnetic locking systems that prevent Memory Care residents from wandering or entering dangerous situations. Our building’s interiors feature germicidal UVC light systems that promote air quality by destroying viruses, bacteria or other dangerous airborne elements. What’s more, our residents are all provided staff alert safety pendants, which immediately notify nearby staff members when a situation arises. We also maintain an uncrowded homelike atmosphere allowing for more spacious living for residents, as well as more one-on-one attention in the event of an emergency.
